Excellent shot! The action is wonderful, I love how the female is standing still and the male is in full motion. It makes the whole thing seem symmetrical and dramatic. The detail is really great, I can practically feel the texture of those beautiful flight feathers and the male's ruffled chest from here. The colors came out perfectly and the lighting emphasizes the birds just right. Nice work.
Do you mind if I ask where this was taken? I've been really trying to find Sandhill Cranes in daylight.
